Cyprio's pressurized Bioforce filters can be used either above-ground or in-ground.
Being pressurized by the pond pump (sold separately), water can be pumped up from the Bioforce filter to the top of a waterfall. Bioforce is ideal for pond keepers who want simplicity, clear water and an attractive hidden filter system. 
Here is how it works: Pond water enters the Bioforce tangentially, spinning the water inside the filter to settle out solids. Water is then forced through special density filter foam. Because the water is pressurized, the foam can fill with many more beneficial bacteria without becoming blocked. Almost solids-free, the water then passes through plastic bio media where more beneficial bacteria cleanse the pollutants.
